What's included in a Lawn Service?

Our Lawn Service includes; Lawn Cutting, Typical String Trimming in areas where our lawn cutting equipment cannot safely reach, edging walkways if applicable, and Blowing Off hard surfaces of grass clippings and debris.

Do I have to sign a contract?
No, we do not require contracts. We do require customers to approve the quote for service. Approving a quote is simple, and can be done within the emailed quote with one click.

On which day of the week will our Lawn get cut?

The service day depends upon which day of the week we are in your specific area. We can let you know the designated day when we provide your quote for service.

What happens when it rains? 

This depends upon the amount of rainfall we have gotten, or are expected to get. If it's just a drizzle, we continue to work. Otherwise, we plan ahead to make adjustments to our schedule. We may start work earlier in the morning, or work later in the evening. We may adjust service days earlier, or later within the week to assure all customer's are taken care of.

What if we need something else like mulch, trimming, leaf clean up, etc.?

We are here to handle all of your property maintenance needs. Just let us know how we can help, and we will work up a personalized quote for you.

How does billing work?

We keep it simple. Typically invoices are sent by email on the last day of each month. The invoice reflects the services we have already performed during that month. Payment is due upon receipt. If you do not wish to receive monthly invoices, you may pay for the full season in advance.

How do I pay the bill?

We have many convenient options, and you can choose which option works best for you. We accept checks, credit cards, and cash. You can send a check payable to Jersey Lawn and Yard to our PO Box listed on the invoice, and on our website. You can use a credit card by clicking the "pay with credit card" link within the emailed invoice. You can use a credit card by going to our website, and clicking on the "pay invoice" tab in the upper right hand corner. You can add a "credit card on file", which allows your invoice to be paid automatically. 

Why do you charge sales tax, the last guy didn't?

The state of New Jersey requires all registered and licensed businesses to charge, collect, and submit sales tax on "services". This includes lawn care and landscaping. We are New Jersey business regulations compliant. 

What are the invoice payment terms?

Invoice payment terms are "due upon receipt" for services we have already provided. After 15 days an unpaid invoice is considered "past due", and a past due invoice reminder is sent automatically. After 30 days an unpaid invoice is considered "overdue", and an overdue invoice reminder is sent automatically. Once an account is "overdue", we may place services on hold until payment has been received.
